MUSICAL DIRECTOR - POWERHOUSE SHEFFIELD
Powerhouse is looking for a hardworking, talented and inspiring musician to join our team in the capacity of Musical Director with a view to taking on projects from June 2026 onwards at our new Sheffield base.
Our intention is to stage an annual musical production for young people aged 11 – 19 offering the highest quality opportunities. We will rehearse on Tuesday and Thursday evenings (7:30pm – 9:30pm) and Sundays (6pm-8pm) at a venue in Sheffield. This is an exciting time to get involved as we expand our acclaimed youth theatre provision to South Yorkshire.
We are looking for someone who ideally has experience in:
As we work a lot with video projection, experience of "click tracking" would be advantageous for all applicants.
Fees for this role are negotiated on a project by project basis (depending on experience/length of project/capacity)

- teaching singing
- leading adult or youth groups
- leading/conducting bands or orchestras
